The Kings of Leon……..

…….because not all new music is manufactured for karaoke by Simon Cowell, or promoted by a half naked Britney Spears.

The Kings of Leon are a Tennesee rock band consisting of three brothers and their cousin, a father and grandfather were named Leon, hence the name.

This (video?) is of ‘Trunk’ from the 2007 album ‘Because of the Times’, it’s a very accomplished sound reminiscent of Jim Morrison and The Doors (if there are any fans out there in South Shields you may like this.) The album is a fine piece of work and has been stuck on my playlist for a few weeks now.
