Just received my iHome iP9BR Clock Radio for iPod, iPhone (Black) and I absolutely love it. I had the product setup and my iPhone working with the Clock Radio in a matter of minutes. Very easy; straight forward setup instructions. Excellent sound quality from the radio when placing my iPhone. Love the phone features – they are wonderful. If you’re playing music on your iPhone and you receive a call. The iPhone dims your music so that you can answer the call without having to undock the pho…… I received this clock radio as promised and was superbly impressed with its performance.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get it. …… The radio on this product worked for one day before going completely to static. I have moved the antenna moved the radio but can get nothing anymore. The unit also has stopped recognizing my ipod touch. I can charge it and turn it on but I cannot get the sound from the ipod to come out of the ip9. The display of the unit is also hard to read unless an ipod is connected to it. If it is not connected to it the unit seems to light everything on the display so you can not even tell what time i…… I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I love all the features. The alarm volume (for radio/iPod) comes on slowly so as not to startle light sleepers. The dual alarm with weekday/weekend/everyday setting is a must have for me. Radio station presets are a nice bonus. I didn’t use the radio antenna that was included and I still get great reception. The time display can be dimmed or turned off. I will use this to play music in my bedroom also. …… I’m on my second IP9 in a month. Both are having the same problem. When placing my Iphone 3g on the dock connection, half the time, I’ll get a window popping up to warn me that this accessory is not designed to work with the Iphone and I should use airplane mode. What’s up with that? Of course it was designed for the Iphone. If I remove the phone and re-dock, it will usually work OK, but sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries to get it to work. If I don’t catch it, the alarm will only trigger the……
