I haven’t been able to keep up with my 300 words, and it’s hurting me. I decided I need a hand-held recording device, because it seems like I come up with such good ideas about topics while I am driving, but then I forget them later on. But boy, I have some fabulously scintillating expositions wasting away on my three-year old as we traverse the town. My iPod is supposed to record voice messages, but mine doesn’t seem to work that way. It may be because, like all my iPod issues, it was formatted with a Mac and I only have a PC, so perhaps that function doesn’t work until I wipe the whole thing clean on my PC, and I am not willing to do that yet. There are 1300 songs on there, and Dad was so happy about his Christmas gift idea. I haven’t mentioned to him my dilemma yet. I know he would use a fair amount of curse words upon hearing that I can’t add anything else to my iPod without having to first cleanse the Mac from its system, thereby dumping 1300 songs my dad knew I wanted. At this point, it’s almost more economical to buy another iPod for my personal use. My old mp3 player is also supposed to have a voice-recording application, but when we tried that the other day, it didn’t work either. It may be that I need to wipe that one clean as well, although that is not a huge deal as I have all that music on CD or on my computer, so it’s not like losing 1300 songs that I can’t get back because they are all in Arizona. I wonder, though, if talking on a hand-held recording device is against the law. Maybe I should check. 2-20-09 Post a comment
